Drake was angered by comments Future made in an interview with Billboard. Discussing Drake’s new album, Nothing Was the Same, Future said, “Drake made an album that is full of hits but it doesn’t grab you. They’re not possessive; they don’t make you feel the way I do.”

Though Future claims his comments were made off the record and never printed by Billboard, the New York Post adds that Drake still got wind of them and ordered his managers to fire Future from the tour.
